Das Elektronische Studio der TU Berlin widmet sich der Produktion und Aufführung von elektroakustischer Musik und Klangkunst, ihrer Erforschung, Dokumentation und Vermittlung.

Im Rahmen seiner Möglichkeiten steht das Studio für künstlerische und wissenschaftliche Projekte zur Verfügung. Die Nutzung des Studios erfolgt nach Absprache und nur nach vorheriger Einführung. Es gibt kein Anrecht auf Nutzung des Studios. Termine sollten unter [mailto:studio@ak.tu-berlin.de studio@ak.tu-berlin.de] individuell und rechtzeitig vereinbart werden.
Within its own limitations the electronic studio may also be used for artistic and scientific projects. Its usage has to be arranged and is only allowed after prior introduction. There is no right to the usage of the electronic studio.

Für nicht kommerzielle Projekte stellen wir das Studio kostenlos zur Verfügung. In jedem Fall erwarten wir im Abschluss an die Arbeit:
For non-commercial projects the studio usage is free. In any case, we expect the following after finishing your work:


* Die Überlassung von Werk und Dokumentation für das Archiv des Studios für Forschung und Lehre. Dies beinhaltet Partitur, Zuspiel, Code, etc. sowie eine Dokumentation/Aufnahme des Werkes (der Uraufführung), ein Exemplar des Programheftes des Uraufführung sowie weiteres Dokumentationsmaterial in allen Medien.
* Cession of work and documentation for the studio archive (used in research and teaching). This includes score, pass, code, etc., its documentation and recording (of first release), copy of program (of first release) and further documentation in other media. Please use the folder '''User''' on the separate partition '''Daten''' on the workstation computers for this! Create a folder with your '''full name''' and underneath a folder with the name of your project, such as '''/Volumes/Daten/User/Your Name/Your Project/'''.


* Die Nennung von „Studio für Elektronische Musik der TU Berlin, Fachgebiet Audiokommunikation“ bei allen Aufführungen und Veröffentlichungen.

Die Nutzer verpflichten sich zum sorgfältigen und sachgemäßen Umgang mit allen Geräten und Einrichtungen des Studios. Sie sind für von ihnen zu verantwortende Schäden persönlich haftbar. Solche Schäden sind unverzüglich anzuzeigen.
The following are general guidelines that apply to all users of the Electronic Studio:


Die Nutzung des Studios ist nicht öffentlich. Weiteren Personen darf nur nach vorheriger und rechtzeitiger Anmeldung Zugang gewährt werden.
* The user is obligated to treat hard- and software and all facilities of the Electronic Studio well.  
* The user is liable for all loss or breakage caused and bound to immediately report such loss or breakage!
* The usage of the Electronic Studio is non public. Further participants are only allowed after prior notification to the Electronic Studio staff.


Bild- und Videoaufnahmen sind genehmigungspflichtig. Ihre Nutzung ist vertraglich zu regeln.
* Video and image material is subject to approval by the Electronic Studio. Their further usage has to be stipulated.


Die Nutzer verpflichten sich, das Studio nach ihrer Arbeit in den Ausgangszustand zurückzubauen. Dies gilt für den technischen Setup ebenso wie für die Anordnung der Tische, Mikrofonständer, etc. Der Genuss von Speisen und Getränken im Studio ist untersagt. Abfälle sind zu entsorgen.
* The user is obligated to revert all changes to the studio setup after finishing the own session. This applies to all hard- and software!


Mit der Nutzung des Studios werden diese Regeln anerkannt. Der Verstoß gegen diese Regeln kann zum Ausschluss von der Studionutzung führen.

* Please don't leave any trash behind!
 
By using the Electronic Studio of TU Berlin, the user inherently acknowledges all above rules. Failure to comply may lead to exclusion from studio access.

The electronic studio of TU Berlin is dedicated to the production and performance of electroacoustic music and sound art, its research, documentation and mediation.

Within its own limitations the electronic studio may also be used for artistic and scientific projects. Its usage has to be arranged and is only allowed after prior introduction. There is no right to the usage of the electronic studio. Appointments have to be made individually and in time by mailing a request to: studio@ak.tu-berlin.de.
